Extreme Media Camp
From 2001 until 2005 the TLT and DMZ hosted the Extreme Media Camp during the summer. This camp was open to high school students and sought to teach them the intracasies of digital video production. The camp was divided into two sessions, Basic and Advanced, with each session lasting for one week. The TLT and DMZ staff would serve as counselors and instructors. Below are a few of the videos produced by both staff and campers.
Extreme Media Advanced Camp 2005 Intro Video
This video was created to introduce the camp during the "screening," held for the campers' parents at the end of each session.[Uploaded on August 7, 2006]
Thorns
Before he was a Juniata student, Wylie Earnhart '09 created Thorns in the final EXM Advanced camp. Thorns tells the story of a young man's misguided attempt to help his father's fading flower shop.[Uploaded on August 7, 2006]
Expiration Date
Expiration Date was created by the very talented Micah Haun and Stephen Withers. The duo combined the use of 3D animation and excellent camera work to create a video that explores the cyclical nature of Time. This movie also features "brilliant" acting by the DMZ's own Norman Krumenacker IV '05 and Ryan Wetzel '06.[Uploaded on August 7, 2006]
