CNS Advisory - Network Downtime Wednesday 8/20
Campus Network and Security (CNS) will be shutting down the servers and all network equipment located in the Server Room on Wednesday, August 20th starting promptly at 6:15 PM . The first attempt to correct some hardware problems with the central UPS was not successful and so we will be hoping to get this issue resolved on Wednesday night.
Administrative Information Services (AIS) will also be shutting down the Datatel Server for this outage.
All servers and Internet access will be affected by this outage. If you have any questions regarding this downtime, please send them to CNS@juniata.edu.

CNS Advisory - More Network Downtime on 8/14
Campus Network and Security has planned one more network and server maintenance period for the remainder of the summer. We will be shutting down the servers and the network starting at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 14th to do the following:
- 1. Repair the damage that was done to the server room UPS due to the unexpected power outage that occurred on 7/15/08. This work requires that we power everything off.
- 2. Install some additional new hardware in the core of the network. This work was to be completed on 8/1/08; however we ran into some compatibility problems and could not complete the process until the additional hardware was provided by our vendor.
