External Training Opportunities
Juniata College is a member of several organizations that provide technology and training opportunities to member institutions. Faculty and Staff are encourage to participate in training sessions provided by the following organizations:
National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education (NITLE)
NITLE was established in September 2001, through a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. NITLE serves as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration for liberal arts colleges as they seek to make effective use of technology for teaching, learning, scholarship, and information managment. As a member of NITLE, the Juniata is able to send faculty and staff members to relevent training at little or no cost to the department. Faculty members are highly encourage to participate in any sessions that relate to their instructions.
