How do I connect to the network in Mac OS X?

Manually Remap the Drives (Mac)
- From the Desktop click Go from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
- Then click connect to server.
- A window will pop up. In the "Server Address" field enter smb://publicshare.juniata.edu/pdrive.
- Then click the connect button. If the P drive connects successfully then you will see an icon on
the dektop that says Pdrive.
- Repeat steps 1 through 4. This time is the "Server Address" field enter smb://webshare.juniata.edu/webusername.
- Then click connect. If the W drive mapped successfully then you will see an icon on the desktop that says webusername.
- Repeat steps 1 through 4. This time is the "Server Address" field enter smb://jcshare.juniata.edu/username.
- Then click connect. If the W drive mapped successfully then you will see an icon on the desktop that says username.
- Do a jig. You’re done! Unless you don’t want to type “.juniata.edu” while wired…
Connecting To Your Drives While Wired Without Typing ".juniata.edu"
- Go to the Apple icon in the left hand corner and click “System Preferences”
- Click on “Network”
- Click “Configure…”
- Type juniata.edu in “Search Domains”
- Click “Apply Now”
