Log Into appserver from Personal Computer

The appserver is a server that we have on campus and contains software that is commonly used for a variety of classes on campus. If you need to access this software you can log onto the appserver and use the software as if it where installed on your own computer. You can connect to the appserver from any computer on campus, this includes your personal computer.

1.) Click "Start" --> "Programs" --> "Accessories" --> "Communications" --> "Remote Desktop Connection"

2.)The dialog box shown below will them pop up. Type "appserver.juniata.edu" in the computer field.

3.) Depending on which version of the Remote Desktop Client is installed on your computer one of the two dialog boxes below will show up. There are separate instructions below based on which dialog box you get.

Dialog Box On Left:

1.) Click "OK"
2.) The dialog box below will pop up when you click "OK". Enter your EagleNet username and password in the appropriate fields, then click "OK".

3.) You are now connected to the appserver.

Dialog Box On Right:

1.) Enter your EagleNet username, with "juniata\" before your user name, and password, then click "OK".
2.) The dialog box below will then pop up.
