Internship and Peer Leader Opportunities
Inbound Retreats Internship
The Inbound Retreats Interns recruit, plan, execute, and evaluate the Inbound Retreat program from start to finish. This internship opportunity focuses on developing your leadership and programming skills. You work closely with the Director of Student Activities, administrators, faculty, community members, and students. Interns should work well both independently and as a team. Applicants should be dedicated, hard-working, creative, organized, and energetic.
The internship will begin on Monday, May 12, 2008, and terminate after Inbound wraps up. Interns will receive a stipend of $2,000.00 and 10 days off (in addition to holidays). Some evening and weekend work is required. Students will be responsible for their own room and board over the summer.
Inbound Retreats Peer Leader
Each Inbound Retreat is led by two students, Peer Leaders, who serve as mentors, leaders, and teachers to our first-year students during their initial transition to college. Peer Leaders do not need past Inbound experience; however, prior leadership and engagement experience is strongly desired. All selected Peer Leader are required to attend a Peer Leader training prior to Inbound.
Please note that room, board, activities, and transportation will be covered for Peer Leaders during training and Inbound; however, a stipend or hourly pay is not available.
