Notes: In addition to completing the above designated POE, students who seek certification in special education must register for ED 452 Dual Student Teaching (6 credits) after graduation, pay additional summer tuition, and complete additional time in their second student teaching experience in a special education setting. Teacher certification programs are subject to changes in state and federal regulations. Formal acceptance into, retention in, and completion of a certification program may include requirements over and above those of the college.
