Geology (GL 100 & 101), 4 credits.
General Biology Requirements: 30 credits
(23 credits specified, 8 upper level elective)

Students seeking teacher certification complete Biology courses (31 credits); additional courses in sciences, math, and English to meet general certification requirements (29 credits); and education courses plus student teaching (37 credits). To complete the program in four years, students must plan carefully. For students interested in Study Abroad, the Biology and Education Departments strongly recommend summer study abroad as a good way to complete some liberal arts distribution requirements. The Biology/ Secondary Education POE (94 -98credits) combined with all other graduation requirements (courses in parentheses) =~122-126 credits.
