Other Requirements and Recommendations

Museum Internship (for credit or transcript notation). A second internship is strongly recommended.

Although not required for the POE, students who plan to enter a Masters program in art history or museums studies must be proficient in French or German (two courses at the 200 level). Those who plan to earn a Ph.D. must be proficient in both. Juniata students are encouraged to enroll in French or German no later than their sophomore year.
