Chemistry Secondary Emphasis
Many students are interested in
chemistry, but not interested enough to complete the full chemistry POE. Some
of these students declare a "Secondary Emphasis" in chemistry. This
consists of the first 2.5 years of the standard chemistry curriculum, i.e.,
Organic Chemical Concepts 1 and 2, with lab; Bioinorganic Chemistry; Analytical
Chemistry, with lab; and Physical Chemistry 1.
