Juniata College and the Raystown Field Station

Dates: Oct. 5-7, 2007

NEES 2007 will take place at Juniata College and the Raystown Field Station, located on Raystown Lake. This rural location is and ideal place to discuss environmental subjects, view wildlife, paddle or float in the lake, and enjoy the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. IMPORTANT: Please read the where to stay section: Oct. 5-7 is also a Penn State home football game: hotel rooms are in short supply!!!!  Juniata’s conference and events office was able to save a block of rooms at a local motel (Motel 22) and cabins at the Raystown Resort, however these will only be held until SEPT. 1! 

We have no shortage of tents and tent space!  Bunkhouses are also available.  Grove Farm at the Raystown Field Station still has room for 8 more (if you are willing to share bunkrooms).
