News at the Field Station February 11, 2013
The coldest weather seems to be past and the early signs of spring are present. Early morning bird song is increasing with the increasing day length and an adult Bald Eagle was hanging out at the nest across for the station which is a hopeful sign. Think spring!

Sugaring update: Based on the forecast, we have targeted this Sunday afternoon , February 10th to begin tapping. Each Saturday in February following the 10th is a possible syrup making day. Please RSVP to this e-mail if you can join us for maple tapping.
