RFS sponsors many activities for Juniata students to enjoy the station and the surrounding environment. Past programs include MapleFest, owl prowls, paddle trips, camping trips, and Fall Fest.

RayCEP (Raystown Conservation Education Program) is a Juniata student internship program that provides environmental education activities each summer to visitors to the lake.
